Someone pointed out earlier that we buy our G37s to drive em. I definitely agree, but I shot myself in the foot with a 10k lease. Wasn't entirely my fault as my previous job was 3 miles from my house.
It is really 9k more than the GTI? Thats crazy. I just think its neat for being unique, rare, and AWD Turbo. I think I rather that than the .:R32 for that matter..How do you think you will fare getting out of your lease? May be tough.

Yup. The GTI can be had for invoice or less whereas there is no dealer out there that will sell you an R for below msrp. I may have exaggerated though, it may be a 7-8k difference (with sunroof and nav on both). It is a sweet car, but like I said wasn't worth it to me. Especially since it will be my daily commuter/beater. 60mi daily roundtrip to work will kill value fast.

I certainly hope I can get out of my lease sooner than later. Its only $375/mo with 16 months and 13.5k miles remaining. Definitely an attractive price to someone who would not need to drive it much.
