G37 Coupe. 08' or 09'?

Help me decide.... Are there enough positive improvements on an 09's over an 08'?

It's gotta be the Sport model with 6MT, and Premium package. (Bose)

There's so many 08's out there, but warranties are running out also.

I guess the 09's won't start rolling in until summer/fall...

Should I find an 08' that MIGHT satisfy me, or wait 3-4 months for a nice 25-30K mile 09'??

I'm sure either one will satisfy you. Try out the 08 sport.

There isn't much of a difference b/w 08's and 09's... can't go wrong with either one really.

the biggest difference i can first think of is the heated seats lol 08 is hi and low with a primitive switch (mine) or the 09 started the sophisticated multilevel turn *** lol

Get the 09 if you can, some 08 had issues.

If both cars are price similarly with about the same miles and no problems with anything then go with the 09 over the 08 as there are a few minor technical changes like the heated seat thing. But it all really comes down to which one is in better condition, what color you like better etc etc... as the two models are basically the same car.

I heard somewhere that if you want it to be a 6mt, it only comes fully loaded, is that true?

It may not be a big deal, but if you can get an early ’08, let’s say one manufactured before October 2007, you would have the original nav with the expanded voice command system that has many more commands than later versions. I have such an ’08 (manufactured August 2007), and enjoy the expanded voice command selections, such as full audio and climate control commands.

And BTW, I have never had a bit of trouble with my ‘08, other than the battery/vent control change that should have been taken care of by now through the TSB.

If you weaken and look at ATs, remember that the '09s were the first year of the 7AT, giving several more miles of highway MPG, due to the two overdrive gears.

Isn't there more complaints for the 7AT than the 5AT?

I just got a '08 g37s coupe about 2 weeks ago, just ask for the extended warranty from the finance manager. It will cost you a little more but it all worked out.

Quick Reply: G37 Coupe. 08' or 09'?
