Hello all, I recently joined, asked a few questions, and i stated that i will be getting a G37 Coupe 6MT by March 1st.

It has been HARD!!!

Many 5AT and 7AT hardly any 6MT in my area, i even thought of getting a G35 coupe 6MT.
Ive got to have a 6MT.....

Just today, I learned of a 2008 Black G37S 6MT in my area for $21,000 57k miles. (is that a good deal?)

How low do you guys think i can go on pricing?
I can negotiate well but i would like if some of you could give me a "lowball" number as in: "Offering 16,900 is dumb or you prob. could get it around $18500.

The dealership opens at 830am..........

I got my 2008 5AT coupe with 30k miles for $20,000 so I think you could go lower but it all depends on how stiff the dealer is. You could probably get it for $19,000 if you tried hard.

 

I would avoid such a high mileage G, but that's just me...keep searching for a better opportunity

Seems way too low. Watch out for paint work/accident.

 

seems low also, if you dont care about an accident than ok...trust me when i say if you dont want a wrecked car, pay a body shop man to look at it and look under the car.
if someone wrecks the car and fixes it themselves carfax will never know. i sadly know this

Honestly for as low as you want to pay, you aren't going to find a low mileage 6mt very easily. 5AT sure, but 6mt are rare enough and there's enough demand for them to justify paying a few K more. G35 coupes are that way too.

 

Just keep looking for the 6MT. So glad I didn't settle for the 5AT or 7AT. I drove 6 hours each way for my 6MT. Loved every minute of it.

 

When I bought my G, The guy was doing the paperwork on the 5AT. My brother calls me back to see if I test drove the 6MT. I said no. So he IMPLORES me to at least test drive it, especialy since I was trading in a 5AT G35 already. He convinced me to drive it and when I was done, I had dude change the paperwork to the 6MT LOL. It was a totally different car....especially since max power comes at such high RPM's on these cars.

Stick with the 6MT. $21,000 isnt a bad deal at all. Check the carfax and go directly to the dealer while you are under warrantee. In fact, I'd get an extended warrantee since the price is so low. HAVE FUN!!!
