OEM replacement spoiler on ebay

Has anyone purchased the oem replacement spoiler on ebay from XCESS MOTORS? Great price but as they say buyer beware. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Most people on here are OEM snobs and will tell you that unless you buy an OEM product its going to be a POS. While many of those OEM-style parts may not be up to OEM standards, most of the time you wouldn't be able to tell the difference (yes I know there are exceptions). Just make sure the ad has an actual picture of the spoiler being sold. CARID.COM sells an OEM-style spoiler for around 200. I'd be more comfortable buying a replica product from a website store rather than an Ebay seller just in case you find that the the fit and finish is poor when you receive it and need a refund.

Fit and finish is a big thing for me personally. I looked into the same thing but 1 fitment has to be exact, I can't stand gaps here and there and theres nothing like OEM Nissan paint. Found that out when doing my IPL front bumper. Also if you have the backup camera, it doesn't mount into the new spoiler, the new one simply has a hole cutout and sits over the chrome lip, so you get a tunnel vision look when looking at the monitor. No go for me. OEM Nissan for that part at least.

Don't do it - I bought one from an Ebay seller with a great rating. Took too long to get to me, did not fit properly, and did not have the proper hardware to mount the camera. I returned it, but have not gotten a refund. The seller keep postponig the original ship, etc to go past the EBay 45 days.

I ended up with an OEM, and am trying to get my $$ back thru my credit card company.

Only problem i have ever had with an Ebay purchase, but for a car part this will be the last time I have an issue like this.

Spend the extra $$ and get the right one. In the end it was only about 200 more for OEM.

Why spend so much for a nice car and then risk it to save a few hundred bucks? It's a pretty easy question as far as I'm concerned ... it's not worth it. And it may surprise you but I'm not a snob. I just don't understand for the life of me why anyone would drop 30k'ish on car and then cheap out on something like a spoiler that has to have a good fit & finish to look good.

I agree with the others about the E-Bay spoilers. I am also in the market for the OEM rear spoiler. I called a few Infiniti dealers in my area and found one that charges $425 for it. That's a lot cheaper than the $530 the other dealers quoted me. I suggest you call a few dealer in your area.

i waited 6 months before pulling the trigger to get the spoiler. i went to the dealership this past friday...bought both the spoiler and midnight black grille.

530 spoiler; 320 grille

yes its a lot of money...BUT i will have a peace of mind knowing I got the legit parts that will fit perfectly.

save the money---spend less on partying, spend less on fast food, etc.

itll be worth it in the long run.

Buy from Discountinfiniti.com and get the spoiler for 425 includes shipping. And get installed by a local dealer or body shop.

If you are handy with tools (measuring and drilling) you can do it yourself, it's not that hard. It is a bit unnerving drilling big holes into your trunk.

One thing not mentioned, I bet none of the eBay type spoilers come with the replacement hydrolic trunk lifters to handle the additional trunk weight with a spoiler.
