wow, thats such a ****ty situation, hopefully everything works out.
dont get your hopes up on getting a free IPL.......at most you'll get back is the value of what you paid on the car (maybe a little more)....but then you have your lawyer fees

Update us one what the verdict is. Damn Dealers are crooks. I just bought a Pre-owned G37coupe as well. And I am getting nervous as well. Hope everything works out in the end

Once you get all the details of your case sorted, please post the name of the NJ Infiniti dealership where you bought the car. I live in NJ and went back and forth between the G37 and a 335i, the reason I decided to go new on the G37 was because of the various TSB's and warranty issues I saw many people on here having with the 08 and 09's, I wanted to be sure I was covered by warranty. In any case let us NY NJ guys know where you got the car so we can wary of the dealership in question.
