Stillen Grill

So it looks wicked slick. Their website says "may take some work" to get it installed though. Anyone had problems with it? Is it decent quality?

Thanks

Hywel

Quality is good but sometimes the emblem needs to be cut in order for it to fit.

Lol thanks! Not too bad, just take a dremmel to the corner of it and then it goes right on. I bought an extra emblem for like 34 bux and used that one for the stillen grille.

i think it looks sick as well.
however, ive seen many pictures of them and it seems that some may come with a slight bend or distortion on the top bar. dunno why.

also, a quick search will tell you that the emblem with 5 x's on the back should fit fine. otherwise you might have to dremel it.

LOL wtf? I really wanted their grille AND their CAI. What's up with Stillen and all the fabrication (nicely put) that's involved with all their mods?? I didn't get the CAI b/c I didn't want to go dremeling my car even though everyone says the gains are nice. But now you guys tell me you have to dremel the logo to get their grille on??

Yep, I bought it and had to Dremel my emblem. Take your time and dry fit after each cut and you will be fine. It's worth it when you done.

I thought for the cost of the grill it was a bit flimsy but it fit rather well and was easy to install.

i use to have the stillen grille, and I had no need to trim the emblem. All I did was sand the void that you squeeze the OEM mt fuji into. It fit fine after that

Does anybody else besides me see a problem with having to modify a BRAND NEW PART to fit a car it was designed for.

Just installed mine 2 weeks ago. basically.

Grill part
- Flimsy, for 200+ I expected something a little more durable.
- Also, the OEM has screws built into the grill and you tighten nuts on it
where as the Stillen you tighten a screw into the plastic hole of the grill, meh.
- Because of the screw issue above,
..the top center screw if the hardest part, you have to thread it through a smal hole and hope it lines-up w/ the hole in the grill.
Wheres as the OEM, this is not a problem, cause you the screw is attached to the grill.

Dis assembly part.
- Taking cover off, there's a middle metal bracket behind the grill that I had to fiddle with.

I like the way it turned out on my car.
