Mod Update

6 weeks and counting, here's what I've done so far:

Graphite 08-10 wheels
Tint
Tail Tint
LED lights all around (putting in fog bulbs tomorrow if I get around to it)
Midnight Grill
Rear Spoiler (installed today myself - took 1 hour)
Debadge "infiniti" - G37s coming off tomorrow
15mm Ichiba spacers all around

TO DO:

Splitter when I find one that fits the 2011 sport bumper
VERY mild drop
New 19's - when I find a strong concave 5 spoke I like - may go with Niche Euro or Miro 942's. Will not do 20's with Los Angeles roads.
Plasti-dipping the fog light chrome surrounds - easy on/easy off.

Then just enjoy for awhile.

End of year - full wrap in dark brushed aluminum to mimic the concept pic attached.

This is my 2nd G - & also have a 2012 FX. Love the brand. Period.

Sorry for crappy pics...no photog here...

I like what you've done so far. Looks good. Definitely need a drop to finish off the look.

Thanks guys. I posted the G Concept pic as I dig the color. My local Sticker City does all the Lambos, Mercs, Rolls, etc in full wraps. A new texture this year is a thick, dark brushed aluminum that has the exact texture of brushed aluminum - and actually feels the same. The owner just did his new 550SL in a version of it, and i have to say it's amazing. I've wrapped roofs and minor body parts, but never a whole car.

What better way to change it up black than to - change it....it costs about 2200 and is warrantied for 4 years. No door dings, waxing is optional - and it is, in my opinion...kinda cool.

Also wish I could find signal mirrors that fold away...but according to other posts ( i search a lot) there is nil.

I also have to drop the Fuji lower on the trunk.

BTW - for anyone doing the spoiler install...you can get away with only drilling 2 holes...and it's super easy. I used some additional super 3M body tape - but rest assured that rear spoiler is not going anywhere any time soon.

good start so far. I would really like to see the brush aluminum wrap on your car. Make sure to post pics of it when you get it done. Also, I've also thought that the rear Fuji should sits to high on the trunk when the infiniti letters are removed, so can you post up pics of that also when you get it done.

Will do on the Fuji - on my previous 2008 G35S sedan I moved it down and it made a world of difference visually. See pic below of my last G the day before I stripped everything off and returned it.

One thing I have noticed about BO - is that you see shadowing when you remove the badging - and it takes a little elbow effort to buff it out.

Will post pics when I get it done.

Ok - bored today so I removed the "G37S" and plasti-dipped the chrome surrounds on the front bumper fog lights. They should have come this way.

Can you see the subtle difference?

So now when it's warmer - I will actually paint them instead of the plasti-dip. I do love how it's great for testing...
