so I was looking through the threads to see if anyone else has asked, and some have asked similar questions but haven't gotten the answer I needed, but here is my question:

I currently have an 08 G37 with the base package and want to add in a sunroof, but am looking at the pro's and con's of doing so, and what you think I would be looking at cost wise (I am just now starting to shop around for this).

The cons are it wont be factory so it will devalue your car and make it harder to trade in.
The pro is it will be what you want

 

Pros.... you get a moon roof..
Cons.... I could just imagine the cost of this. It will get expensive.

 

Well....I know a few people who did it, and all of them regretted it. They've had nothing but problems with them. Biggest issue is leaking...they all leaked when it rained.

 

Aftermarket sunroof = BAD IDEA.

 

Sell Car, buy car with OEM moonroof. It will probably end up costing the same and will be reliable.

 

cool, thats what i was looking to hear...it hardly rains where i live but i wash my car often and can see this going downhill...

 

I had a friend who did it to his suv. It did leak and it the cloth above your head will get wet and your car will also have a really bad stink in it because of the water on cloth, not the seats, but floor and roof.
