2008-2009 G37 Coupe Used worth it?a

Well I am looking into a G37 coupe something under 60k miles for around $20k. Now I am aware compared to the 3 series, G's are extremely reliable, I intend to own this car for AT LEAST 4 years. Are there any long term reliability issues I should be aware of? I have driven a G37X sedan many many times and absolutely LOVE it so whether this car is for me is not a question.

Thanks in Advance

I'm not sure if you're looking for a 6mt. BUT if youre looking for an automatic 2008s were only 5at and became 7at in 2009. One of the huge differences to think about.

yes; right after i posted this i found that out, idk its 2011, I can't deal with a 5 speed, also the gas would be worse but overall i love the responsiveness of the 7AT. Unfortunately i cannot drive manual so the 6MT is not an option

Took me about 3 months to find the one I wanted, but it can be done.

In a week, you can go basically anywhere without a problem. In a month, you can eliminate most of the jerkiness when driving. 6MT is so much more engaged to drive, seriously.

Just got mine yesterday. YES GET ONE!

edit: I have an e90 330xi as well. The G is waaaaaay better than the bmw, way more fun, and the interior is way better in the G. The 335i is a tad faster I believe but the G is definitely a much better overall car & more reliable. Cost me around 2k to get my A/C repaired in the bmw. The BMW is definitely a fun car, but you will have buyers remorse if you get it. Get the G and score a peace of mind.

I would think you could find one with much less than 60k miles, more like 30-40k max....

I'm looking for nearly the same thing, but an '09x coupe. First year for both awd and 7spd tranny. I am a parapalegic so I am limited to the auto tranny for hand controls. The first thing I would mod would be to add paddle shifters though. When I could use my feet, I only considered manuals, it was my number one criteria for car purchases. the x is only available with the 7 speed auto, and as far as auto trannies go, it seems like a very good one. I'm looking forward to using the paddles.

Now they only need to add a double clutch and forced induction options to really make these things punch. The IPL division needs to step it up a bit, they are far to mild. If their biggest competition is the 3 series, why not aim the IPL at the M? Dammit, I want a factory inter-cooled twin turbo coupe. But I digress...
