lease is up in a couple months
Hey guys, I have an '08 G37s coupe 5AT. Love the car but have a few gripes. I'm not sure what I should do when my lease ends. I definitely don't want to buy and keep this car, I'm looking at another lease. Should I get a '12 G37s coupe/sedan 7AT? Spring for an audi S4? I was looking at bmw 335 but they are just too expensive when you option them out, it puts them around the price of the S4 which I would rather have over the bmw. I'm definitely looking for AWD. My current car is RWD and I want something better in the snow since this is my DD
I like the power of the G but it would be nice to have a bit more torque. One of my biggest gripes is the transmission - very jerky and annoying, especially since I do a lot of stop and go traffic around town. I hear the 7AT is pretty much the same (if not worse?) in stop and go traffic which is a bummer.
My budget is $400-600 per month. What would you do?

For reliability and value - stay with G. BMW and S4 become very expensive and also time consuming if you get a bad one. BMW has bought back two of my Beemers since 1990.
Not that that has anything to do with my opinion...heh heh.
G37xS would be a great choice, expecially for the amount per month you want to spend.
Just my .02.
Oh - and for the recored, my 11 G37S is my 48th car, with my 2008 G35S sedan having almost 0 issues, and I also bought a 2012 FX35.

yeah I am leaning towards another G. Just have to decide between coupe and sedan. Do the paddle shifters still have lag between when you press them and the actual shift? Do the xS models come with all season or summer perf tires? Thanks

My xS sedan came with 18 inch tires labeled " Ultra High Perfoormance" all season Dunlop tires. I'll be putting OEM 19in. S cpe. wheels and Mich. Super Sport tires on in Aprill and just use the 18s for snows.

I can see how that would apply to some people on the forum. Out of all those cars, only one was new. Many were auctioned by my company. I bought them for my coworkers who needed time to save up the couple hundred bucks to buy them.
