G37 rear trunk spoiler question
Hey everyone, i've bene here for a while but never made any post up until now. Anyways i own a 08 coupe(6 spd. MT) in Amethyst graphite all stock for now, i regret not getting it in IPW but i had a G35 in IPW so i wanted to try something different.
Here's a crappy iphone pic:
I found this OEM style spoiler on ebay already painted and wanted to ask what do u guys think? i read somewhere that even the dealership get theirs from shops also.

or i can pick this one up from a local dealership, but i dont know why it states 09? It should fit 08 models also right?

I just got my 11 and had ordered the factory one. Thank god it was on back order cause with the install it was almost 900.
I found one on ebay as well - prepainted to my color, 3 coats paint, 3 clear...for 187 - including shipping.
Here's the one I got: http://www.ebay.com/itm/350137182444...84.m1423.l2649
I figured why not try. The one I bought off ebay before for my previous G35 was perfect.
I also read other post here and these seem to work fine. It's funny that there are different ebay sellers with exactly the same product - but with varying prices.
I chose one middle of the price range...and with a better listing.
just my .02.

Post pics if you decide to get one. How does it affect the rear view camera?

I'm usually adept at installs...ripping out interiors and Dynamatting, light electrical, installing body kits...
On this - i need to see the template and instructions. It should be farily easy as the interior trunk liner and chrome piece are easy to remove, and the camera should be plug and play. leaving only the two holes to be drilled.
That being said - i need to get it all apart then make the final decision. LUCKiLY - my bodyshop that I have worked with for 15 years is literally, 2 blocks from me.
Stay tuned..

ParkStr8, you said the spoiler you bought on ebay requires drilling? is it where the chrome piece is located, or does it need to drill new locations outside of the chrome piece? what about camera mount, does it have one so you can relocate the camera from the chrome piece to this spoiler?
