G37 advice needed!

hey everyone,
got a couple quesions
1. so i just sold my g35 a little under 2 weeks ago, and ive been waiting to go to the manheim auctions tomorrow to pick up a car. sad thing is i sold my car (2006 blk/blk/ on more blk g35 coupe) to get a bigger car that was a little more mature but hopfully in manual tranny.....thing is theirs this really nice 2008 G37s coupe 6MT. and i was just wondering if anyone had any warnings about possibly not buying the G and moving on to somehting more like a merc C350, or lexus IS350?
2. i LOVE to mod my cars. so naturally im curious if the G37 is farily as easy as my G35 was to mod, with HP gains off things etc. and was wondering if anyone know what the "better" more gain mods would be to buy int he area of intake, exaust, etc.?

thanks for your help! and hopfully ill be a permanate member tomorrow

Had my g37 6mt for 6mths, just make sure all fluids look ok, clutch feels good and releases at correct point, no trans grinding ect, good car
checkk tires and brakes, wear quickly.
Beat the living crap out of mine every day, no probs at all, no issues at all
