I was interested in doing this, I searched but no luck. I was wondering if anyone has installed a front facing camera yet? Something that works through your OEM nav screen, kind of like the new EX has? I have an 08 G37s and thought it would be a cool feature. My G is lowered on some Tein springs, and it would be cool to have when parking to avoid any curbs lol. I had a lowered Z and never had an issue, but then again I always park like 3 feet from a curb just to be safe!

I agree that it's a pretty awesome idea to do that! Although I'm fairly confident that no one here has done something like that yet; it would've been all over these threads if someone had it with success. You might wanna check around on the 370Z forum, 'cause they're more likely to have it than us by now.

I have a front facing camera but it's for a different purpose. Mine is mounted under the rearview mirror and records what is happening in front of the car. I use it to record spirited drives and for evidence in case an accident occurs.

i've been trying to find a way to have the front facing cam as well as the cameras that are imbedded into the front bumper...

I just back in when I park. The rear camera works well and it is easier to leave the spot going forward.

Gotta love the Japanese....my 370GT comes with one as standard. It is mounted on the passenger wing mirror and points down at the front wheel. Very useful for parallel parking and it also has yellow lines indicating where the front of the car is, which is useful when you are worried about scraping the front lip in a car park. Do these not come on any of the G37 models?

Wow, thats nice! Nope, none of the G37's have them here. I wish! That sounds like its really useful. I never scraped my front bumper or curbed a wheel yet, but it would be a nice feature to have so that I'm not overly paranoid when parking lol

Is this something we can integrate into our cars by getting the parts? Too bad no one has done this. Someone do this and write up a do it yourself.

You would have to get your hands on a JDM wing mirror and even then it would be on the wrong side.

The infiniti ex has them I'm the front emblem. I don't know how hard it would be or what it would require to use them on our g37s

i've done one on my friends car. it's a pita to run all those wires plus you'll need to buy the converter box for aux inputs.
