I cant believe its so easy to do that? Just pop the cover, play with the screwdriver, windows down........While in alarm locked OEM mode, does that Alarm/Horn go off?

I asked my friends, neighbors, they didnt hear a thing?

How can I test the OEM alarm?

IIRC, this roll down 'feature' is defeatable. The dealer has to program the option out. They'll still damage your lock with the screw driver, but the window wont go down. Question is, will they then knock the window out to gain access, or move on to the next car...

Well once the window is broken the alarm will sound ( this i can confirm from experience...)

I hope nobody who steals stuff out of cars is reading up on our forums to get ideas.

If someone wants what's in your car, they're going to get it. Better that they don't break the window to get it right?

Nobody has ever broken into my car. Will this person/people come back? The dealer can disable this roll down the window feature? I called Douglas Summit Infiniti Auto Body, NJ so Im going to take it there for estimate. MY door makes this weird noise/click noise when I close it, like it something is loose?

I was thinking the same thing

So I went out and tried it, my 08 does as so. Iirc, you can open.the trunk from the inside and the alarm won't sound, only if you open the door from the interior will it go off
