EVERY. DAMN. TIME. It gets really annoying, really fast. Especially when I come home late at night, or when I leave a friend's house that lives in a quiet neighborhood...

I'm tired of having the same problem. Leaning over cleaning the windshield at the gas station, etc. Took the fob apart and put a 3/8 inch piece of paper clip in each side of the panic switch with a small touch of super glue to hold. Replaced the rubber gasket over it and put it back together. Panic switch is rock solid and unlike the glueing in place method I read others due, this is reversable.

I've had it happen as well, something like 3 times in a week or two of owning the car. Though with the cold weather I just keep my keys in my coat pocket now, so it doesn't do it anymore. Though as others have said, you can get the dealer to increase the time threshold to set it off or get some sort of cover for it.

Funny...this just happened to me and my fiance as we were getting out of the car. Twice. I'm glad she's not the only one.

I just clip mine to my belt loop. I don't set anything off accidentally because its hanging and not being pressed by anything
