By pressing the button, you turn traction control off. HOWEVER stability control remains on and will always remain on, unless you unplug the ABS.

By pressing the VDC button for a long time, it activates the fail-safe mechanism, i.e. if you press the VDC button for a long time, the computer thinks the button is jammed and will turn the traction control back on.

So if I just hit it once, traction will turn off, but if the car feels slipping that will always be on? I held it for 15+ seconds before and it flashed, and light went off... So that means that VDC and Traction was on?

You can turn off vdc, but no matter the slip light kicks on.
Its the lsd rear axle, only so much wheelspin before loss of traction is controlled by ecu.
Never heard it can be disabled, except the awd you can pull the fuse.

Exactly. You have to be doing some pretty stupid things for stability to kick in though. I've been able to pull pretty long slides and drifts without the stability kicking in at all.

Yeah, if the light just went off, that means the failsafe was activated.

Haha man, this is an oldie.. Yes, there is a mod to cut the signal from the brakes so the engine will allow a burnout but you need to search for that, cant just spoon feed ya.
