tinting problems

im just wondering if im the only one that has had this problem...i've tinted the car 3 times now (well the driver window 3 times now atleast) and everytime, its starts peeling in the very front lower corner by the mirror. i've told the tint guy to dig the tint deep, i've watched him do it, and it continues to do it. i even took the drastic approach (thinking maybe because the window going up and down from opening and closing the door didn't allow the tint to dry) for a week straight got in the car from the passanger side and climbed over to the drive seat, making sure i always parked the car where the driver window would be facing where the sun was (in the florida heat, figured that would work lol)...sure enough thou, first time i finally opened the driver door, i heard the infamous nice ive been accustomed to hearing, the tint pealing up from that corner of the window. have any of you ever had this problem/had a innovative way of not getting this to happen?

I have the exact same problem. Mines been tinted twice.. and I have to go back for a third time. Going to try and leave the car in the sun for a few hours this time, without opening the door. The last 2 times they said it would be fine to open the door, but im going to try not doing that.

You need to remove the contact on the door.
It will stop the window from that little bit it movws when you open the door.
Contact piece is where the door sticker is,has a black rubber cover.
You can unscrew that piece.
This will keep the tint intact to dry.

Yeah, they need to take apart the door, I am surprised they didn't. I have had 0 issues with my tint and it has been cold here. Sounds like it is a problem with the person who is installing the tint

My guy did the same (I actually witnessed it). Zero problems. Actually put the window down during the first day too by mistake and still looks good.

Although I have a sedan and the window maybe slightly different, but I tint my own windows and I have never had any issue with that specific area

the 3 times i watched him, he didn't take off the panals....the passanger window tint is perfectly fine with no tint peeling thou and he didn't take the panal of that one, i figured it was because the door was barely used and had time to settle before it was opened
