I ordered a paddle shift kit from Tony at OC Infiniti (Tony Nazzal <tnazzal@ocinfiniti.com>), which came last night.
I've taken the screws out of the stock trim, and removed the center piece from under the wheel, but I can't figure out any way to get the lower column trim off without removing the wheel. Any tips?

Ok, i just had to ask for help and I got it on my own. I probably spent an hour fiddling with the lower trim trying to get it off. I'm not sure what I did, but it came off without much difficulty once I had things lined up correctly. If i had magically lined it up right the first try, the total process would have taken about 20 minutes.
Other than getting the trim off, the hardest part was getting the electric sterring adjuster cable plugged back in. I eventually popped the **** back out of the trim piece so I could connect it at a friendlier angle, then popped it back into the trim piece again.
A short trim around the block revealed that everything is working properly!
Looks like I'm done modding for now. I've had it tinted and installed my V1 with Mike's Mount and an Invisicord. I'll look at wheels in the spring if the budget allows.
