I imagine you guys have using black suede or a faux suede... i bet it looks sick!! share you experience... ie cost, difficulty, where you got it done, and how it looks!! thanks!!

Lots of unanswered questions in that thread. It seems it just died off before they were answered....
Questions:
How much did it cost, did they come in at the $600.00?
Did he go ahead and paint the trim pieces? Did they charge more to do it later?
Did it really smell? I can go some type of cloth it it stinks.
Someone was going to try the paint, did they? What happened?
The first thing my Mom said when I took her for a ride was "why is the roof tan?". I have a beautiful black and red interior with a tan headliner etc. Sux! It has to go, I almost don't care what it costs as long as it is done right.

Bumping an old thread back to life...
Wondering if he ever got those plastic pieces painted?
My 2 A-pillars have some cigarette burns (from stupid prior owner) and I was thinking about just dying them black, or just redoing them with black fabric, but don't know if it'd look weird having the rest of the headliner tan (which I hate with passion)
Or maybe I'll just buy 2 new A-pillars...

Kind of a related comment here...Shortly after I got my 2012 G37xS Coupe, I received a pretty official looking survey from Infiniti regarding my opinion on my G Coupe and suggestions for improvements. Among the punch list I provided was to dump the cream colored headliner in favor of a charcoal colored head liner (I have the graphite interior). I also mentioned my other interior pet peeve regarding the sport seats. The front seats have a nice contrasting white stitching. However, on the rear seats there is no contrasting stitching. It looks cheap and as if they ran out of white thread. One of my buddies even commented that this is lame on a $50k car. In the comment section, I told Infiniti it's details like this that separate world class from second class.
I never really noticed that the reat seats didn't have contrasting stitches..LOL! I've hated our tan interior liners from day 1. I wonder who decided on this so I can and he/she can . A light charcoal interior with the graphite interior would've looked 100X better.

I've been thinking about this for awhile as well. I even thought a shade of silver would look good to kind of match the accent pieces in the interior. Thinking about a medium to light charcoal might be better though. I've almost pulled the trigger to go ahead and get it done a few times, but I've always been unsure of what to do about the tan plastics up top.... Just paint them or....?

The million dollar question...LOL
There are pics from a member that had the headliner done in black suede, but left the plastic pieces tan to try and see if it looked good as contrast. I don't think it looks good and if I were to have mine done, I'd like to know how to get those trim pieces properly stained black. I wish Nissan had made these parts black as well (or a darker color), that way we'd have a choice.
And about the white stitching in the back seats...I had never noticed that before! I better not remember it when I get back in my car tomorrow morning, or it will give me a headache knowing that the rear seats don't match the front!
