Will anyone's 08/5AT G37S.....
chirp the tires on the 1st-2nd upshift? Just curious, as mine will not. I get a delayed shift and then a surge after the shift into 2nd. Very similar to GM's torque management that they have been implementing for years now.

LOL, ill do it tomorrow and try to give an exact RPM. Now I don't know the differences b/w the 5 and the 7-speed other than the obvious 2 more gears, so maybe you wont be able to. I just know that if you've reached the redline you've gone to far, lol. Its about to 300-500rpm's before

I got a loaner for my car when I had the passenger wind noise fixed a few weeks ago. It was an 09 G37 Sedan, with the 7AT of course. It would turn the tires over at full throttle from the 1st to 2nd upshift. So, I am wondering if it is just an issue with the 5AT models for 2008?

My tires definitely chirp from 1st to 2nd if I accelerate hard enough. But I think it may be because of lower quality tires. I used to have Pirellis, and they never chirped. Now I have Delinte tires because they were cheaper, but decent quality.
