I think he means the "I have a proper, full on, sports car that I use on the weekends but couldn't stand to have a fully automatic car as a daily driver and hate driving a manual in heavy traffic every morning, so I prefer something in between" mode.

Unless you have a highly modified G37, don't try to kid yourself that you have a real sports car simply because its a manual.

actually I've always had manual cars until my 370GT, my daily is a manual
& because here in Aus our steering wheels are on the PROPER side of the car (right hand to steer, left to shift) it's helluva lot easier to drive manual if you're right handed, we need to be good drivers to avoid all the damn kangaroos/wallabies/koalas on the road

Yesterday going around a car that was stopped my 7AT spun the tires 1st to 2nd then chirped going into 3rd.

This guy pulled up next to me down the road cause first he was caught off guard that my car is RWD but then when he found out it is auto he really freaked out. He was drooling till he heard how much I paid for it.

Oh and he asked me what aftermarket exhaust I was running..................stock....................
