2008 G37S recall?
Question for the group?
There are a few ongoing issues I have and wonder if anyone has any feedback for me?
Sunroof:
It squeeks when you go over bumps or drive slowly over almost any grade change. Dealer has lubricated it, fixed some leaking but it is making the noise again and afraid the leaking might start. Any similar experiences or knowledge of a wide spread problem with this?
Transmission:
It kind of winds out and doesn't always shift to a higher gear (Auto with the shifter on wheels) right away when I am accelerating quickly. My parking tells me that it sounds "different" now when I drive off. Hoping my tranny isn't about to crater on me.
Bluetooth:
I assumed that the driod phone I loathed was the reason nobody could hear me in the car, but I got an iPhone and it still stinks. I can't even talk on it without frustrating the person on the other end and I am losing my patience. Could they have sold me a bad one, or do they all stink?
Thanks to all for any advice or help!

Sunroof: no problem here. Just normal body flex when on an incline.
Tranny: 66k mile and no problem so far. 6MT
Bluetooth: use on a regular basis. No complaints from either end either.

I use it all the time and its very rare that I get complaints from the other end. Usually if I get complaints it is very likely due to cell reception more than anything else cause I hang up and call back and problem is gone.

No issues with my sunroof.
6mt, so it shifts when I shift. Never misses a beat
Bluetooth: Yea it sounds like **** when I'm driving more than about 40 down the road. They're all like that. It's the abundance of background noise. The bluetooth can't filter it well, so it lets it all through. I gave up on using bluetooth in a car long ago. Just pull over and pick up the phone. Works great

my bluetooth sounds fine on both ends but when i call out it takes 5 seconds to go from the hand set to the bluetooth, regardless of if i dial on the phone or through the car set up. and when someone calls me, it rings though and shows the number but as soon as i pick up it disconnects the bluetooth for 2 seconds, letting the radio play, then reconnects. - G'z One Commando (droid platform)

WOW, didn't realize that the squeaky sun roof affected other G's. Infiniti has been trying to convince me that mine is a one off problem. Well they're supposed to send out a specialist this week to look into my issue and after that we've pretty much decided that if the issues isn't resolved they will buy the car back. Lets see how this goes.
The transmission issue is certainly more infrequent now that before. I've just about given up on that issue though. I know exactly what it is with the tranny. Taking off from a stop a bit slowly then increasing throttle input tricks the tranny as its about to upshift and it gets caught between the upshift and the downshift or atleast keeping the same gear and the rev's just rise with no movement (because the car is inbetween gears). When the gear selection is finally made the traction control kicks in due to low gear high rev's. First couple times it happened it scared the lights out of me, now I've just adapted my driving style to compensate. I also know that its happened to my brother at least twice when he had borrowed my car, he actually thought the tranny was slipping. Ironically the first time it happened he had gone to pick up the car from the dealer for the exact problem and he had no idea why it was even there so I'm pretty sure he wasn't biased.
