OEM BULB vs PIAA vs V-LED vs NO-NAME interior lighting

hey guys ive gone through a bunch of bulbs in the past especially LEDs thought id take some quick snapshots and compare the popular brands out there for anyone looking to change their bulbs

OEM BULB vs PIAA vs V-LED vs NO-NAME interior lighting-pwkfq.jpg

I tested 4 bulbs... the OEM, PIAA Brilliant Xtreme Cool White LED bulb(not really LEDs), V-LED, and the cheap China Brand that always fuses after a week

OEM BULB vs PIAA vs V-LED vs NO-NAME interior lighting-kbntb.jpg

the light from the PIAA is dispersed evenly and it matches the headlights the best.. on the plus side you dont have to worry about changing these as often as LEDs are more prone to fusing in my opinion

OEM BULB vs PIAA vs V-LED vs NO-NAME interior lighting-itokq.jpg

overwhelmingly bright not as dispersed but if you want the LED look then go with these

china brand... ummm yeah... the actual bulb has 8 LEDs but they dont come close to the brightness of the V-LEDs

Hope this helps you guys

This is a very handy post. Thanks! I think I would probably go with the PIAA myself. Where did you buy your bulbs?

Looks like your V-LED bulb is directional .... I have 5K V-LED's that have 4 LED's around the side and one in the middle that produce a bright (not blinding) even dispersion of light.

Yes, they do. I own their LED's 168 size. Using them for my door lights. Pretty bright and lasted the past 3+ yrs w/o any issues. Mine aren't like the ones that the OP posted. The PIAA's he has are not LED's btw.
