Need Help

Guys, as you all can see i am a newbie.

Looking to lease a new G37.

Having an issue finding a White with Black interior Auto from the leasing company.

What is the difference between a g37xS and a regular g37s.

I know to start its a AWD..but doesnt the all wheel drive shut off after 15-20 mph?.

Please help

Thanks.

But is it ALL-Time AWD? or Shuts off and turns into RWD?

Where do you live OP? IMO if you don't live in snow area AWD is not necessary.

The X is AWD on demand. It only turns on when needed, so you will be driving around in RWD 99% of the time. In my 09 there is a "Snow" on and off button which forces the AWD system to stay on at lower speeds (0-15mph roughly).

I'm pretty sure the "snow" button has nothing to do with whether the car is in 2 or 4wd. From my experience, it only controls the throttle so when you step on the gas in the snow, your tires won't slip.

Putting it into "snow" makes it full-time 4x4. 50% to both the front and rear, no slip.

Agreed. In most instances, AWD is a waste of money and gas mileage. Not needed by most American drivers.
