Question Installed a new Steering wheel, possible imperfection question. pics

So last week i had infiniti install a new steering wheel due to the corner trims were peeling on the old one, while they were doing that, the driver side door panel was replaced because of a screw at the end sticking out a little.

also had a new shifter put in because of scratches from the previous owner.

My question is on the new steering wheel at the bottom there is a very minor not tear but scratch hard to describe, but i can feel in my hand when i am taking a turn.

is this normal? or should i go back?

sorry for the crappy iphone pics.

pics of new shift **** and door panel while i am at it

Yeah looks like they used a box cutter to open the box and may have nicked the wheel...

How did you get your dealership to replace all these "cosmetic" problems? I'm not sure if the warranty is different here in Canada but my dealership said that cosmetic issues are only cover within the first two year or 20,000km.

Problem is .... you drove it off the lot. I bet you will hear the old, "It wasn't that way when we were done with it"

Wouldn't hurt to try and have them replace it again.....

I also just had my whole driver side door panel, shifter console/bezel, shift boot, shift **** and the wash trims on the passenger side replaced last week. At dealer's expense. .
