How to Reset Total Mileage

Hi I want to know how to reset my total mileage.

I don't think that possible nowadays with cars. Am I wrong? If it is, it would probably be quite difficult, since everyone then would just get their car mileage decreased before selling it to a fool.

do it like Ferris Bueler (sp?)

drive it in reverse.

hahhaa i don't care its my car ill do what I want

I only want to do it because I got my car in Feb and already have almost 10,000 miles and its a lease !!!

1. Not your car.
2. I think that's a BIG No-No. Like jail time no-no.

At the rate you're driving it it'll probably be cheaper to go out and buy an old cheap Civic to drive around to offset the miles, as opposed to paying the excess mileage at the end of the lease.

ha you wish it was your car but your renting overpriced.
You really think its that easy to reset such a thing ? imagine all the cars that would have low mileage ... hope they rape you for going over your miles on their car.

So that means you’re trying to commit a fraud against your leasing company by avoiding paying for excess mileage when the lease is up. Assuming you’ll be able to avoid jail time, doesn’t the brazen dishonesty of the thing bother you at all?
