G37 Lease - Accident

Hello Everyone,

I had a quick question in regards to my lease.

I was in an accident on Saturday where I was at fault. I injured the front driver side of my vehicle. From the looks of it, I will need a new hood, driver side fender, and a new light. It could be more damage then what I see.

I have an estimate at a certified repair shop (Through Nationwide) scheduled for tommorow.

The questions that I have are:

1) Do I need to let Infiniti (Lease company) know?
2) Will I have to pay more money at the end of my lease?

Nationwides program states:

"All covered repairs completed by a Blue Ribbon Repair Service Shop are guaranteed by both the facility and Nationwide. This guarantees repair or replacement of any defects in alternative parts, or workmanship of the appraised and completed repairs, for as long as you own or lease the vehicle."

Please let me know what you guys think.

Thanks!

you don't have to advise Infiniti and you won't be charged anything at lease end, assuming the work is done right and guaranteed by your Insurance Company.

It is guranteed, so that works perfect. I was only going 10-15 MPH and I was in my accident with a non-moving vehicle. However, my damage looks so much worst. Makes me want to

Positive. The airbags never deployed. Also, the vehicle I hit doesn't even look close to that bad.

Wow, glad you're ok. Hope your passenger will be ok. And I'm not questioning about your speed or the airbags...but I'm with kchu... how is it even possible that 10-15mph caused THAT much damage. Unless you drove into the back of a tractor trailer...

Our front ends are really light, ESPECIALLY the hood. That looks like a reasonable amount of damage, but it does look like you hit some sort of a truck...

It was because my front driver side ran right into the front of the other vehicle.

Maybe the picture makes it look worst then it really is. However, the car was actualul driveable.
