I took some short vids of the plastic welding process; I'll probably upload one or two of them since most people here don't get to see the behind-the-scenes process that goes into body customizing. I intend to do the same thing with pics of the glazing and painting processes as well.

Damnit, I need to drive my a$$ up to your spot and check on all these projects you seem to have going on your ride. Haha, I remember when you first got this car you said you might change a few things but not much at all, maybe just paint scheme... think that was less then a year ago... Guess there are too many lakes in the burbs that breed those pesky mod bugs.

I definitely want to check this out though, its going to look great and you will be 1 of 1 so far which is very refreshing!

Hahaha, yeah I got it back in Nov., so a little less than a year. I had a 350 before that I had all modded out. My last car, an Altima (daddy mobile) was the only car that I have ever owned that wasn't modded. It's an addiction my friend......or sickness, depending on who you ask
Yeah, hopefully we can finally meet up at Wekfest or the weekend of.

Thanks bro! We're using a plastic welder and flexible plastic weld sticks. The glazing process will be done with 3M Flexible Plastic Repair part #5887. The painting process, I will be using BASF Diamont Onyx, waterborne paint and Diamont flexible primer and flexed clear.

I plan on posting some add'l pics as process progresses. We have had 100+ degree weather here ALL week so after working all day, my bro and I don't feel like sweating our a$$es off anymore in the garage. We'll work on it more this weekend and hopefully I'll paint it next week or weekend.

In for final pics! I didn't even know stillen made this lip until I saw this thread. Why don't more people run it? I havnt seen one G on this forum with it. Everyone seems to run the knockoff top secret stuff or the stillen splitter. I think this looks better personally.
