For almost the same price as a fully loaded G37s you get a little exclusivity and you get several nice upgrades all under factory warranty. If you want a $60,000 G56 you got to put your money where your mouth is and let Infiniti know.
-Dude, I hope you're drunk or high.. Because a stock *** IPL looks like a damn 4x4. Look how much of a fender gap it has, you can stick your whole head in there. The wheels are cheesy af,.

-20" wheel, meaning Vossen CV3's, not cheap. Hankooks are great tire,.
I'm guessing you are a "Michelin" head.

-Blackhead lights are better than stock *** chrome headlights that don't even match the car.

-Debading makes your trunk car have a cleaner look, than having stuck up *** "INFINITI" when you already have a damn Infiniti Logo.

FYI,. If stock cars don't look cool.. They don't turn heads,. Might as well get a damn Honda 2011 Civic if you want to be cheap.

Common now; you want IPL wheels on your G

I own an IPl and love it. Don't waste your time trying to convince the haters that it has great value. Most of them are just kids who are clueless.

but honestly, who compares the GT-R to the M/AMG/RS cars? They're GT cars, while the GT-R is not. Everyone already acknowledges the GT-R is faster.

If you want to talk strictly budget, I'll take a Stohr for half the price and the GT-R would never have a chance in any type of performance environment, but they're not even in the same league.

Imagine if Nissan followed suit and purchased Mine's to be their in-house tuner...

Well, comparing the IPL to M/AMG/RS classes is just as flawed. They're in a different league as well. And I'm pretty sure that the GT-R is a GT car as well as a supercar. It fits into both categories--not even mentioning the fact that it even has "GT" in its name.

The base cars for the German's are direct competitors to the G, so the logical "upgraded" version should compete with the IPL, but for some reason, Infiniti didn't really do anything to the car. Likewise, the price reflects the performance.

C300 -> C350 -> C63
IS250 -> IS350 -> IS-F
328 -> 335 -> M3
G25 -> G38 -> IPL?

I mean, come on, the jump from a 335i to 335is is larger.

I acknowledge that the market was not there. Now that the GT-R has a base price of 90k, is it really that unrealistic to have a 60k G?

I think a M3 GTS vs Nissan GT-R V-spec could be an interesting comparison.

Jesus you guys still arguing this? Infiniti obviously wasn't trying to compete against the $60k+ M3. They wanted to keep the IPL at under $55k while at the same time offer a very attractive pack that offer a great balance in between performance, luxury, and exclusivity. I say mission accomplished.

I used to hate on the IPL as well but once I looked at what Infiniti was offering for a bit over $50k I changed my mind.

Like the OP said, you can either get a fully loaded G37S or spend less than $2000 more and get the IPL instead.

At first glance a fully loaded G37S looks no different to a G37 journey with S package. Yet they're close to $10k apart. An IPL looks quite different inside and out from a fully loaded S. All for less than $2000 difference. The extra 18 hp is just a bonus, even if it happens after 7k rpm's.

So wait, when the new gen G coupe comes out a little over a year from now its not going to have any added HP or performance upgrades? Is it going to always be one step behind the IPL? Or are they going to change the IPL's HP when the new G coupe comes out along with other upgrades to keep it one step ahead because its the performace line? If they aren't planning to make changes to the new G coupe coming then that will be sad, you would think that they will add many new upgrades....I dunno just a thought. I understand its a year and a couple months away.

I did read it. I have the ability to read. All you were talking about was financing options and showed a bunch of options. I wouldn't get an IPL, but that's just me. If you want one, go ahead lol.
IPL mt is cheaper than the G37 mt w/aero kit and spt muff
IPL at is cheaper than the G37 journey and G37x both fully loaded

If people still want a fully loaded g37 at or mt instead of an IPL and saving money... not a hard decision there. Btw if people think the red seats are the only color for the AT, I ask a dealer and said it was possible to have the interior black but I think that's if you factory order it.
Ummmm...No. I have a 2011 G37x coupe fully loaded and I payed WAY less than an IPL....

my opinion is that i like the IPL, but as stated before, i don't think they should have made a performance line only changing a couple things and adding 18 more hp.....if they're gonna make a performance line, drop a v8 or TT in there so you can compete at a higher level. i personally like the look of the IPL and i would 100% buy it, but i dont think it should be called a "performance line" just yet

umm... I think IPL is like Lexus IS with F-sport addons, and not quite an IS-F.

But as someone already mentioned, 95% of the buyers will never mod their cars, so IPL would cater to the 95% of new Infiniti G owners..

my honest opinion, I cant stand the look of the IPL, its like the older version of the Nismo 370Z. It looks hideous in my eyes, all wide with that atrocious body kit (with exception to the side skirts and the new MB color) and NOTHING about it screams look at me im better than the regular 6mt. For the money, I'd still get the 6mt.

The new 6mt's with the new bumper look absolutely stunning in my eyes. Again this is my opinion, not putting down those with IPL's, you like them then that's all that matters.
