Car is 3 days old -> Battery DEAD!!
I have a 2011 G37x Coupe which I picked up new on Thursday night. Great car so far!! Fast forward 3 days, I was having trouble opening both doors with the remote so I opened the drivers with a key and pressed the start button, but the car didn't do anything. No light, no radio, no nothing. Figured it is the battery so I called the 24hr road assistance, jump started, nope, NO GOOD!! WTF!!
The car is brand new. I believe it has less than 50 miles total. Since the dealer is re-opening on Tue bc the 4th of July, I am pretty much stuck here with no car.
I searched here and found there were problems with 2008 batteries. Am I having the same problem? I mean.. seriously.. my car is only 3 days old.

why not just get the battery replaced instead of getting a different car? when you know it's just a battery replacement?

They might have to do the VCV replacement...? That's the only thing I can think of. I'm not sure if it's supposed to apply on the 2011 models, but I got that done after I had to get my battery replaced for the 2nd time.

2nd time? WOW! How long did they take it to put a new one? Did you get a loaner car or had to wait there?

Even though it's a new to you 2011, it could have been sitting on a lot since late 2010. It's probly just a bad battery and can't hold a charge. Definitely give the dealer hell though.. might get something out of it!

LOL, no. I would have asked the dealer initally to replace the battery with a new one before I bought it considered he had to jump it to get it going on the test drive.
I'd go into the dealer on Tuesday, tell them the problem and get them to either (A) tow your car to the dealership and install the battery or (B) have a tech drive out to your house and install the new one. Either way you shouldn't have to pay for anything. Be polite but firm and remind them that the battery had to be jumped on your test drive.
