cruise control problem

Has anyone had this problem before? Where you hit the on/off button and the cruise indicator doesnt come on?

Any input?

Could be a slew of things, but mine did this early on, and it was related to the pedal position. You have a sensor on both your clutch (if applicable) and brake pedals that works like a stoplight switch; when you depress either pedal, the sensor cuts off cruise, and similarly won't let you engage cruise when a sensor is tripped. I noticed that if I used my toe to pull upwards on the brake pedal it would allow me to set cruise, so I used a E clip on the sensor to space it a little higher. You could also probably adjust the sensor downward (or just let infiniti solve it!). Hope that helps!
