Infiniti Certified Pre-Owned is a joke
I visited my local Infiniti dealer on Monday and found a 08 coupe I like. The $31K price tap is a bid high for a used 08 G coupe. However, the sales manager claimed this car worth every bid out of my money because:
1. it's lease car return (he said people lease car usually take better care of the car than actual car owners)
2. it's a one owner car
3. they invested over $3000 into the car and what they did are (4 new tires, new in cabin air filter, wiper blades, air filter and other $190 cost service)
4. he even said selling this 08 G Coupe at $31,000 to me, they will lose money
After days of considering,I finally decided to pull the trigger this afternoon. I called the sales manager and made sure this car was still available. When I arrived the Infiniti dealership with my check book this afternoon, me and the sales manager couldn't find the car. It was gone. After 20 minutes waiting, the sales manager told me the car was out as a loaner and it left Infiniti early today. It won't return to the dealership till tomorrow.
If it's common practice for Infiniti to use their certified pre-owned one owner vehicles for loaner cars, they have to inform buyers in advance. It's not fair for us, customers, who pay a premium to purchase these vehicles that looks great in paper(one owner), but actually driven or abused by countless unknown drivers as loaners.

Lease returns are difference and I would buy because people pay monthly 400+ for it and if they return it back in crappy condition, they would get charged and stuff so yeah. That's weird .. a coupe? lol

i would be more worried that it was a leased car instead of a owned car... Lease cars people normally wouldnt take care of...
Btw i paid 27k for my 08 g37 s coupe fully loaded 15k miles, though i got a sick deal.... I wouldnt pay over 29,500 for that...
