i cant stand when people complain about wheel gap when its down to the millimeter or having to see tires on their car. listen you bought a normal car, not a vehicle on tank trax! EXPECT SOME WHEEL GAP, AND HAVING TO SEE RUBBER ON YOUR RIMS.
People who drop their cars and then complain about tiny wheel gap being a few millimeters to high for them are also forgetting about the massive gaps in front of behind the actual tire: (see picture below)

just be thankful that you dont live in the days before wheel gap... days when you hardly got to see your wheel at all.

unless your car sits in a permanent show room, it should be tuned for optimal performance FIRST. so having some wheel gap, and ample rubber on your tires should be the first and primary concern on your TO-DO LIST.
Making teeny-tiny wheel gap something to really stress over is like worrying about a way to modify the blink rate of your turn single.

This. Your exhaust scrapes and hits before anything else does, really. Then your side skirts. You know, stuff that makes loud clunking/scraping noises that just hurt your soul...

Your tires specs for 18's are entirely way too small for one...and second, I love how low our engines sit! The plastic cover sits like an inch lower then my FI exhaust and TS front so I know when I'm pushing the limits so I don't rub.
