DID DEALER SCREW UP? Rear spoiler

After researching rear spoilers on this forum, I asked my dealership to order an OEM rear deck spoiler, factory-painted Blue Slate for my 2011 G37x coupe, specifically WITH the back up cam but WITOUT the rear brake light. (F.W.I.W., I have nav & prem.)

Got a call today that the spoiler is in, and dealer sent me a pic of what it would look like. I hope the attached photo comes through.

Looks to me like this is NOT what I ordered. (Looks like it has the rear brake light). Dealer says, "oh, it's just a little strip of clear plastic, it doesn't detract from the look of the spoiler").

I'm thinking, no, this is not what I ordered. So again I ask you fellas, is there a factory-made, already painted rear spoiler WITHOUT the brake light but WITH the camera? And does anyone know the part number for Slate Blue 2011 coupe?

Thanks. This was going to be the first mod to my new car. I'm heartbroken if this is the wrong thing.

(And I'm a noob to the forum. Thanks, boys.)

Where did you go? I ordered mine from Infiniti of Orland Park two weeks ago. Now they told me that it won't be in til May 9th. There are 10 on order and that I'm 5th in line.

Just curious, why don't you want the brake light?

I have an OEM spoiler, and mine has the brakelight in the spoiler.

Problem was you ordered a OEM spoiler which comes with brake light. It's an aftermarket spoiler that doesn't have the brake light. As long as they hook up the brake light you'd have plent of brake warning If they fail to hook it up that would rather suck and be a no go with me.

Seibon makes exactly what you want for about the same price as OEM. If you don't like the CF look, you can always have it painted.

OEM is required to have a brake light (DOT).

Keep the spoiler
Have the dealer install a parcel shelf without a high mount light. On their dime.

I thought the idea with the spoiler is that you have an option to have the techs NOT hook up the spoiler's brake light, just keep the one on the rear deck on like it came stock. So that's what I clearly told my dealer: get me one that has only the back-up cam, spoiler in same body color. I have email specifying that and dealer replied "I understand what you want, no problem." I was getting it straight from Infiniti.

Now are you folks saying that there IS no painted, Infiniti spoiler out there (from the dealer) omitting the spoiler brake light BUT does have the camera?

Correct, all OEM spoliers come with a brake light.

the only coupe that comes w/o a brakless rear deck is the IPL's now.

the sedan OEM rear spoiler does not have a rear brake light...but that won't fit on a coupe

You can choose to NOT have the dealer connect the brake light from the spoiler and continue to have the one on the rear deck working. However you'd still have the clear plastic of the spoiler's LEDs showing, which would make it look like the spoiler light is broken. The spoiler brake light looks much better in my opinion.

Seibon Spoiler doesn't have camera hole.

To my understanding it does. Their older ones didn't but they have been making them with camera holes for a while now. will let you guys know once mine comes in. It should have a camera hole but no brake light. Unless the body shop is blowing smoke up my ***.
