Thread is a year old, but I just ordered one for my new G37. Just for the oil change, which I do myself, it is worth it. When the flap on the plastic OEM is down at a 90 degree angle, there is not much room to work, if you have ramps, and I had to push the flap up to about a 180 degree with a couple of small wedges. It will be much easier to just undo a bolt and work through the removable door on the mod. Item has been shipped.

3/22/13 Product came. Will install soon on the 2013 G37 Sport and post fitment.

I got to see these while in Vegas... the Owner makes these there. Found him on the Craigs list of Vegas. They even come plain aluminum too! To paint it if you want. Im going back soon to pull the trigger on it... he says about 1-1.5 lbs heavier than stock which is not bad. The oil filter door makes it easier1 bolt! Vs our oem.
Plus the best part is it just bolts up ro the existing holes perfect so looks like a chin lift for my G next few weeks when I go back to Vegas!

Come on 7 G needs a new pair of Shoes!

2013 G37 Sport Coupe 6 MT: Did the install yesterday. I was expecting it to be an easy fit but it was a little difficult. I had to remove a few 12 mm bolts just to the rear of the piece which I was able to reintall later. I actually drew a few marks on the piece where I was going to cut it to get it to fit, but I arrived at a compromise. The problem is that it can't go rearwards enough to allow re-inserting the 3 plastic pins midway between the two pieces without hitting some of the rear body pieces. If I wasn't lazy I would have disassembled the unit and elongated the 3 mid piece holes and they would have lined up or cut the piece where I had marked it in the rear. Instead, I just tightened everything up and didn't try to re-install the plastic pins. With everything tightened, I don't think I will have any rattle problem. If I do, then I will pull it off and elongate the holes and/or trim off some of the back of the piece to get it to move rearward enough to uncover the mid-piece holes.

The mod is worth is weight's in gold if you do your own oil changes. The door with the removable flap makes it very easy.

bumping old thread. I got this locally for $130 for the regular aluminum version, not powdercoat. I have aftermarket Zele performance bumper so we will see if this will fit.. if not, i can get a custom one made for free.
