Was it the weather or fluke?

So I was driving to NYC last night on Parkway and I mean this car was blazingly fast. I'm cruising it at 65 because of several state troopers in the vicinity but once they exited, I increased it back to my standard 80 and I mean it took milliseconds for her to react that fast.

I was astonished that by hitting the gas pedal so lightly, she jumped like a cheetah. Is that normal, fluke or it was the weather conditions? Will she be like this come standard warmer weather? If so, I'm going to love driving her again lol

Seems normal, my 2010 maxima gets from 65 to 80 in absolutley no time, and it has 40 less hp than the G. Its just that the vq motors make better torque when the car is already rolling. I think its more useful to be able to go from 60-80 really fast then from 0-60 really fast.

I've noticed that when it gets warmer out (55 and over) the shifting becomes much smoother and the throttle and car respond so much better.

Could be the weather...

One thing I noticed about my 6MT G is that it has its days.

Some days it feels a bit sluggish, rough I should say.

Then there are days when it's super smooth and I feel like taking it up 140 mph.

It's usually more smooth when driving on a cool night.... I'm in a tropical island so when I say cool night, I mean a windy 78*F.

I’ve noticed the same thing.. also something about having half tank of gas.. I don’t know why but it makes a difference... there is this really nice route I like to drive about 20 min away from my house... it’s through farmland, with huge elevation changes and corners as you are coming up and going down through ravines... when I catch he car on the right day its absolutely magnificent...
