Just got a call from the 115th precinct. They caught the group that were stealing rims in queens and they also found my wheels

damnn that sucks.... i know a number of friends and clients who got hit in bayside/little neck.

it's the worst feeling coming out to that. i learned after that happened to me 6 years ago. i love my security cameras at home that have infared and zoom

I am going to find out tomorrow if theyre mine, I have a couple of distinguishable curb rashes on them that I touched up, however, thinking back, i dont know how to tackle this insurance process now, sideskirts will still have to be replaced and such, if i get my rims back, i am still paying the costs close to $1000 to get my car back in factory spec. if the cost of everything comes out to 1100 i might as well just pay cash instead of cashing in the insurance check just to shave the claim off my record..

One comp claim may not increase your insurance premium, you may want to think about just keeping the check... that is as long as your insurance company isn't reading this forum.
