A scratch like this was bound to happen at one point or another...
I was just expecting it from someone walking too closely and not from my own stupidity. That's probably the best way to describe the scratch - it looks like someone rubbed up against the paint. Long story short, it (my stupidity) must have made the car tap the concrete wall in front (I realized it a little too late).
Here's a picture:

Sorry for the quality - taken by my camera phone. I've confirmed that I cannot dig my fingernail into the long scratch; there are some hair-thin scratches that you can see in the bottom-right corner of the picture. The long scratch actually looks worse in the picture than in real life I think. It's definitely not as white/bright as it looks (likely from the light reflected off of it).
I have Meguiar's Swirl X, Ultimate Polish, and Ultimate Compound. From what I've read, I should try them in that order (of increasing abrasiveness). Is this right?
I also picked one of these up from AutoZone

The yellow is a microfiber pad, the white is terry cotton, and the gray/black pad is a foam applicator.
I'm open to any suggestions on how to buff these out. I'm guessing to use the foam applicator first, then move up to the terry cotton pad?
I have no problem with picking up anything extra I might need (or exchanging what I have).
I'm planning on washing, maybe claybaring, and working on any other scratches/scuffs tonight or tomorrow mid-day. Anything I'm missing?
Last question off topic: Vossen or HRE?

I would take one of those microfiber pads and *by hand* apply the products.
I doubt SwirlX will get it out, but it looks like what you have is more along the lines of transfer than a scratch (well, the scratches you observe probably are if you can get your fingernail into them, but the bulk of it will come out if you cant hook your nail on it)
Im not quite sure where ultimate polish fits, but check this image for an aggressiveness order (per Meguiars) about their other products): Aggressiveness Order of SMAT Products - AutogeekOnline Gallery
I would see if you can pick up ScratchX as it will be one or two steps up from SwirlX, but should be locally available (my local AutoZones all have it)
Try SwirlX first, then ScratchX if you get it, then ultimate compound if you have to, but Id try to stay away from Ultimate.
I think ScratchX is going to be what fixes most of it. Might not be perfect but it will probably improve greatly.

I couldn't really tell from pics, but if they are scratches I highly doubt that'll buff out. I have something similar and tried. Luckily its unnoticeable with the splitter.
and LMAO @ Vossen or HRE.
Vossen are nice wheels, but HRE is up there with the best. HRE P40 = greatness.

Thanks for help, everyone.
Looks like the Scratch-X got all the small transfers out. You can still tell that the long one is there up close, but I'll be trying compound next.
Of course it rains the day after I wash, polish, and wax it... !@#$
I guess I'll go open a savings account for those rims
