Parking lot encounter
I ran to a local sandwich place aT lunchtime today and as usual, I parked in a spot away from everyone else. Didn't work this time.
Pulled into a spot behind a car already parked. As I was getting out of my car, the lady in front was closing her door to leave. As soon as she started her car, she had it in a reverse and headed towards my car. I tried yelling, but it was too late - SMACK.
She didn't want to trade insurance info, so I had to call the cops. She readily admitted to the cop that she didn't look before backing into me. Her fault and now I have a nice crease in my front bumper.
I already contacted her insurance. I assume the bumper will need to be replaced but is there anything under the bumper I should be worried about?
Darn thing is she didn't even need to back up to leave, she could have just pulled away!
