I don't understand why some people need to reverse (parallel parking) when you can fit 4-5 cars in there. They can just drive in w/o doing any reverse.

that's brutal, i def feel for you...a few years back, i was at the TD drive thru waiting to make a deposit. as i see the man in front of me take his slip out of the drawer, i notice the mans brake lights come on, and then REVERSE lights...as i had cars behind me i was laying on my horn, this obviously went unheard. this guy had no clue he was in reverse untill he hit my car

hope everything works out for you.

I had just stepped out of the car and locked it. Saw her backing up and did yell, but she had her windows up. She did tell the cop she heard me, but not enough reaction time.

61 year old lady.

The driving tests are a joke these days. In MD, my kids had to putt around a parking lot and 3-point turn and parrallel park, that's it. They didn't get above 10 mph and encountered no real word circumstances. Yeah, you are supposed to drive 60hours and keep a log book but with both my kids we always heard, "But joey/susie's mom didn't make them drive that much, they just faked the book". Sadly we even had parents say they couldn't spare the time (the root cause of so many issues these days) to get 60hrs in.

My road test was in real world driving, parking, 3-point turns, one-way streets, etc. Geesh ... sorry to hear it man. I'm just waiting for that first stupid encounter to happen. It's out there waiting for all of us.

Some drivers really honestly have sh** for brains. They shouldn't be allowed to drive in the first place and I am sure some DMV person felt sorry for them and passed them eventually.

a little off topic, but I thought in MD you still had to take a driving course if you're under 18.

Sadly enought I remember my high school having a drivers ed class, which they killed off the year before I could take it

Ah sorry to hear about this - one of those situations where you must have felt helpless (as she slammed into your car).

This type of **** just irritates the heck out of me man. I'm like a lot of people here, I try to park away from everyone else and I get the end parking spaces and park my car as close to the side where there won't be a car next to mine. I do this when I'm driving my GF's SUV as well. As usual, there will be those dumba$$es that will park next to you despite all the other empty spaces because they think their car and your car will get along very well in the parking lot. SMFH!
