I have an 08 Black Obsidian and have never owned a Nissan vehicle before so my knowledge starts with my G.

The touch up paints i purchased from Infiniti is called "Super Black" and has "Nissan on it."

I have purchased two of these (once in '09 and again in '10) from seperate Infiniti dealerships and both times receieved the same thing.

However, I see hints of brown and red in the new "Crimson/Malbec Black"...

I don`t think so According to this chart Crimson Black is more of a Charcoal Color and Malbec Black is Blackish
