So I broke my passenger side windshield wiper while washing. Lifted it up to clean under it, and the end caught on my shirt and the piece of crap just snapped in the middle like it was nothing. I go to the dealership to have it replaced, and they tell me the original wipers on my coupe are not in the parts catalog and can't be ordered. Instead they have 'Genuine Infiniti Replacement Wiper' in the box. This wiper blade is not as high quality as my original one, and looks ugly. I know it's a minor thing but I suppose I'm particular.

Does anyone know if they are telling the truth, or where to get a new original wiper blade? Maybe order one from Japan as that's where they are originally installed?

I don't know why they would tell you that. As a matter of fact, my dealer recently ordered me a new set that are identical to the original ones that came on the car. From what I was told by the dealer, they will give you basic replacement blades unless you specify that you want the original ones. They have to be special ordered, but they are way nicer.
