Got in an accident..please help!
So last weekend I was driving and I approached a car who was parked alongside of the road. Apparently, I was in her blind spot and she had no idea I was there. Anyways, she attempted a quick U-Turn from her spot and hit the right frontal side of my car and it slid down the whole right side of my car, scratching both rims, flattening my back right tire, and doing lots of damage. My right side air bags popped out too.
Anyways, I'm going to get an estimate tomorrow, and I wanna replace everything that was damaged...I want new parts in general. I'm guessing it will be about 10k to fix everything. But my question is that I have a 2009 G37 which has that special self healing scratch paint and when I go to the body shop and get it fixed, will I still have that self healing paint afterwards?

Lots of shops dont have it. You will have to call around and see if the shops have the infiniti self healing clear coat they can put on. I'm sure you can call infiniti and see if they have a person that does it.

^^ youll get a standard clearcoat from 90% of body shops. Dont worry about it not having the self healing thing. The self healing properties only last 2-3 years anyways. sorry to see that, some people just cant drive!

i hope she is paying for the repairs...
and i have had repaired similar damage on a vehicle before... what you do here is cut your losses and sell the car..

The car was bought. BTW, what's the best place to go get it fixed at in Orange County? I've heard Fountain Valley Body works is pretty good, but I wanna look around. I would like to get it fixed at an Infiniti body shop but the Infiniti's around my area doesn't have body shops.

I've never heard of ANY dealership having a in house body shop lol
afaik, Infiniti dealers outsource all body work, which is done by a shop not any different from one you can find on google in your area with some good reviews.

Sorry to see that!
One thing to do. Make sure to file a diminished value claim with her insurance company. Google it and read up on it so you understand what it is. You are entitled to it. Sure, you've got to do a little work (basically have to go out and get some trade-in prices at local dealerships and tell them about the damage and then compare to what they would offer for the same car if it wasn't in an accident). The difference is what you are entitled to and it could be several thousand dollars.
Good luck.
