Exclamation Plasti dip with clear. See pics......

I know most people are curious about the results of adding a clear coat to plasti dip. Well let me tell you dont do it!!!!!

The clear coat looks terrible with plasti dip!!!!!! And it's a pain to remove.

We own 40k cars and we are not trying to mesh them up, so i figured i'd try this on my mother in laws van... Lmao

plasti dip sells a clear coat for their products but its sold in 1gl or 5gl containers

THIS IS A REGULAR CLEAN PLASTI DIP JOB.

THEN

A MESS WITH A CLEAR COAT. PLEASE DONT DO THIS TO YOUR CAR

I HOPE I HELPED ALL OF YOU GUYS DECIDE THAT MATTE BLACK IS THE WAY TO GO......

I didnt remove it because one of the main points of using plasti dip is the fact that 1. it peels off and 2. you dont have to remove your emblems.

so you used plasti dip clear over the PD black?

the PD clear is matte itself, hense why it has a horrible finish

you can spray Rustoleum over plasti dip no problem. i posted a link from driver somewhere on here, one of the PD threads
