Dealer screwing me with Floor Mats

So i was just talking to my salesman on the phone about a little issue. I know on the car slip(the thing that told the salespareson the options on the car before it came in) listed all the options including carpeted floor mats, and trunk mat.

Now i just looked at my invoice, and he didnt list it as an option the car had, and i called to ask, he says that it will not have them. I distinctly remember the slip of paper saying the car would have them...

Should i cause a stink about this? or just let it go...

If you actually paid for them then you should get them - they're yours. If you didn't then let it go and just buy them.

well i know it was in the sticker price, but technically its not on my invoice, so i paid for them, but i signed an invoice that does not have floor mat and trunk mat on it. MY fault, but they are being ****s about it.

Did you not get your sticker? Take your sticker in and point it out to them.

I told him it says it on sticker, he says that it doesnt matter what the sticker says, it matters what my invoice says.

Its not the 125 bucks that is the problem, its more the point that there messing with me for 125 dollars on a 48k car.

^ err, yeah. as far as i was aware floor mats are standard equipment on our cars. now, rubber all-season floor mats are an accessory. but the carpet mats should be standard, per this description from Infiniti's website: "Front and rear carpeted floor mats"

stick to your guns on this. floor mats are standard.

Was it a new or used car? Used would have an as is option. Plus they could have had the sticker on a used car showing one thing, but the contract of sale showing another. You can always bring it up with the sales guys boss and see.

Damn, if the dealer is trying to nickle and dime you on a set of floor mats, you must have really got a good price on the vehicle. Most dealers wouldn't screw you on something so trivial.

BTW, if the sticker has the mats on it, you should get them regardless of what's on the invoice. I'd **** on my salesman's car if he tried to pull that kind of crap on me.

yea got in on a redic special, 350per month, 3k down. 24 months, thats for the 11 xS coupe "fully loaded(minus mats apparently)"
I saw someone else had just got a 24 month lease for something around 555 per month with 0 down. So im coming out a couple thousand cheaper than that, which on a 24 month lease is a lot.

Are you referring to the Monroney sticker? If that has it, then yes, you get the mats. If its some BS sticker the dealer added on, then no, you're not due mats.

Its not on the monroney, it was the dealer sticker, i assume because they were supposed to have added the mats themselves.

^ wrong. the car comes standard with one set of carpeted mats. you can buy ADDITIONAL sets as accessories.

look under the Specifications tab, scroll down to the bottom of Interior Features. the last item tells you all you need to know. floor mats are standard on all models.

your dealer is trying to shaft you. this is such an obvious screw-job that you may want to bring it to corporate's attention.
