Horn sounds like a civic!
So I got my Stillen Gen 3 intake installed two weekends ago at a reputable shop in Dallas (Jotech for those who live around here). I was extremely happy with the purchase after noticing the power gains and sexy engine growl at high RPMs...then the week following the install, I noticed the intake rattled at times when driving at slow speeds. Called the shop and they asked me to bring it in the next week so they could check it...ok sure no problem.
This past weekend I took the car back to Jotech and they found the intake was hitting against something so they added some padding to get rid of the noise...perfect until I got home and locked my car...the horn sounds like that of a toy car. I got back in my car, turned the ignition on and honked the horn...same thing! sounds like your usual honda civic horn
Can anybody think of what they might've done to cause this? I'll be calling them later on to make ANOTHER appointment but would like some input beforehand.
Thanks in advance!

You must have a G25..heard since they were cutting back on the power they toned down the horn tone as well. hahaha jk. Not sure man, wonder what your shop did to make your horn sound wussy like.

That's what I was thinking. I called the shop and they are going to take a look at it this weekend, but is the connection something that I can easily checked beforehand?

A lot of smaller cars only have a single tone horn. If I had a small economy car, I'd definitely put a big honkin' horn on it because I hate wimpy horns, even on a small car.

Lol... wow Im having the opposite issue with my horn.I think my Hi horn has stopped working and now my car sounds like the clown car mentioned above. Was going to get a train horn but decided it was a little too ghetto for the G but i checked the fsm posted in the Sticky session and found this link. Shows the location of both horns and the wire setup.
