And OP, don't worry about warranty issues. If all you're looking for is an axle back you can easily swap out mufflers if an issue ever arises and be right back to stock. Not that I can imagine a time when you would need to though, you shouldn't have any issues at all.

funny thing is, i think the 35 and 37 have the same exhaust, but i know what you mean, it sounds a little different, i think its due to the engine.
im in the same boat as you, ive noticed a sound change in the 4k miles ive put on it....it will continue to get better.
however, out of all the exhausts ive heard...most of them change the sound. I want to keep that G growl...the only ones that retain it for the most part is the Fuji and Megan.
he means broken in.
I wonder if the exhaust on the IPL is the same as the "sport exhaust"....i mean i would assume so.
I noticed you have the Fuji exhaust. can you post a video? there arent too many online

The dealer "sport muffler" is the Fujitsubo rebranded under Infiniti. I have it and was actually at the dealer when they started up a stock G then my car with the sport muffler on it, it sounds a little deeper and throatier. As for performance gains they are probably none to very small, I see it as a exhaust sound mod. If you want performance gains get an entire aftermarket exhaust not just the muffler option. The exhaust tips are bigger also, similar to the IPL. At first they seem too big but overtime now I see stock g's as having less aggressive looking tips, it's all subjective though.

Didn't ARK file for bankruptcy? I thought I saw that around here somewhere?
