Canceling maintenance plan..
I will talk to the finance person in a couple days when I get some time to drop by the dealer, but I was wondering if you guys could answer some questions I had before hand.
I feel totally ripped off with the maintenance plan. My mom originally bought the car and paid 1838 for it. Its an elite schedule 2 plan and I was doing some searches on the forum only to find people paying only around 900-1200 for the schedule 2, big knock right there.
Its been WAY past the 60 days since I bought it. I have only brought it in to the dealer 3 times and adding those 3 charges on the service they did would be about 350. Its been about 26 months since I bought the contract.
With that said, if I ask to cancel, would I get back the difference 1838-350 or does the 26 months into the contract play a role as well?
I think it would be WAY cheaper if I did everything myself even if I decide to stick with the plan right? I have 34 months left on the contract (60 months) which comes out to around 6 more services at around 120 each, give or take a couple hundred for the 30k work.

It's pro rata so you but I'm not sure of methodology. You can call Infiniti to acquire about your plan details and amount of refund. I believe it will just be a month/mileage calculation.

it would be prorated..
im in the middle of cancelling my plan as well. total rip off after thinking about it esp for the amount i paid....
i didnt even use one service yet and i sent my cancel notice to the dealership 10 days before the 60 days for the full refund to my creditor and have attemted to follow up with the dealer yet they have neglected to return back to me with a response. tomorrow would be 61 days and i still dont know if they even processed my request. luckily i certify mailed it and have records that they indeed did receive my request 10 days prior to the 60 days. just sharing my little situation

The G is a simple car underneath. Front engine, rear drive, and not a lot of fanfare under the hood.
Ain't a lot to go wrong. Conduct scheduled maintenance and preventive maintenance and it'll run forever.
