Has anyone bought an IPL G37 yet?

People need to know that the IPL was never meant to compete with neither the M's, the AMG's nor the RS's from the Germans. However, the G37 coupe was always a prime competitor for the 335i... That is, though, until BMW released a slightly tuned-up version of their car called the 335iS. So, therefore, Infiniti responded in a similar way with its IPL. That's it! It's not competing with an M3 - only with the 335iS. That's why we won't see a V8 in the G coupe until it decides to do so. However, for competition, Nissan already has the GT-R, so I don't think they want to take Infiniti in the super-car direction at all.

I just traded in my G37 convertible for an IPL. Besides the visual changes the mechanical changes are very much enjoyed in the IPL - increased HP, higher torque, stiffer springs, true dual exhausts. The audio sense gets tweaked up with the mufflers in the IPL. I would suggest driving each car one after the other. To me the changes are more obvious than the difference between a G37 and a G37S.

Do not buy it! Its a rip off! Just MOD it like others its cheaper and better!
Today as I left the dealership from getting my MT gear fluid and rear Diff fluid changed, I was talking to my service guy about the IP. He said, its not worth it. Better to mod it yourself. Waste of Money. But he didn't need to tell me ,since just looking at the sticker on the window will make you sick.
PS: My suspension set up alone which cost me near $3,500 will leave that car in a tree going around corners. As an example that suspension is really a tad better than stock Sport Model. Take a good look at what those rims cost you.. you could have VOSSEN wheels for 2/3 that price... a million times better!

I think I was the 2nd guy on this forum to get an IPL. https://www.myg37.com/forums/picture...the-forum.html
Anyways, for those of you talking about pricing, the dealer's cost for an IPL is $43k flat, so you can work off of that.

bloomingdale's only had 175 2009 verts made....
2010 anniversary edition sedans were 350 only, 2011 limited edition malbec black sedans were 350 (175 rwd, 175 awd)
2010 anniversary convertibles were 175 (graphite shadow), 2011's limited edition convertibles are 175 of them (malbec black).....
it's a slow start because you can't choose combos -- let it be as it is.... no decisions except if you want it or not.
same like the wife-- she wants some odd limited edition Chanel bag... her decision but she can tell the difference that only 500 of them are in the whole country.... go figure
my buddy loves his anniversary sedan -- people always ask how he got the red leather etc etc....
some people wish to be noticed

Thats nice information to know thanks, I just bought my first G 37s and love it, it sounds like I made the right choice when I found a 2010 anniversary edition G37s coupe, 7A, graphite shadow with the red leather.
Do you know how many of those where made ?
