Attempted break in to the g :(

Any idea how much this will cost to fix? Will do the door have to be replaced?

Looks like someone used a crowbar to try to pry the area above the keyhole

UPDATE

So I got my car back, the total damage was $1700, they didn't give me a new door shell and said it would be as good as new...

As someone who is very detail oriented, I could see the lines above the damaged area appear to not be 100% straight compared with the passenger side.. I'm not sure if this acceptable or what I should do now.. =( is this considered a good repair by normal standards and acceptable? or am I just being way too **** about it..

Check out the pics..

Passenger Side (Perfect)

wow man, im so sorry to hear that, i feel your pain. Im no expert but you may not need new door, the bent looks like it can be pushed back out. But take it to a godo body shop and they may be able to straighten it out and fill in the chip, but the chip can be covered up when you put a new keyhole cover on.

The door skin is ****ed up. Sorry man. Yeah the insurance should get you a new door. Probably cheaper then having a body guy work with trying to massage the metal back.

Did u even look at the picture. They messed up the door trying to bust the lock to the point where there is nearly a hole. Key delete won't cover that up!
